Once again I will take a look at a very simple and clear passage from the Word of God to help you cut through the religious clutter of our modern day.

Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. (Galatians 3:13-14)

The passage above tells us that Christ (speaking of Jesus) has REDEEMED us from the curse of the LAW! Did you know that every person who has not willingly turned to Christ is for redemption, is under a CURSE!

For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them. But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith. (Galatians 3:10-11)

There are many who are under the DELUSION that they can somehow keep the LAW of God perfectly, but they do not understand that they are under a religious bondage. Deep inside their heart they are seeking to please God, but they keep coming up short. (Romans 3:23) Multitudes have been deceived by their religious leaders who are in that very same bondage themselves. The only way that a man or woman can be justified before God is by faith. God has promised the Holy Spirit to those who have recognized their own lost condition, and have seen their need for redemption in Jesus Christ.

If a person does not acknowledge Jesus Christ as Saviour, Redeemer and Lord, then how can they possibly say that they know God? If a person continues to reject Jesus Christ, then it is absolutely impossible for that person, to receive the Holy Spirit whom God has promised to those who have faith in Him. The Jewish apostle Paul was one such man, who was under that same very delusion and religious bondage, until the Lord saved his soul. (Acts 9) What happened after Paul was converted? He preached that Jesus was the Christ (Messiah), and he was the one who wrote the very passages of scripture that I quoted above. So who is in a right standing before Almighty God?  Is it the Jewish people who reject Jesus Christ as Lord and Messiah, or is it those who receive the blessing of Abraham, which is the promise of the Spirit by faith? The scriptures have already taught us that it is those who have been justified by faith in Jesus Christ!

The Spirit of the Living God is what makes the difference between religion and salvation. When the Holy Spirit comes upon a person that same person is going to preach Jesus Christ as the only way of salvation.(John 14:6, Acts 4:10-12) That same person is going to warn people about their lost condition without Jesus Christ. (John 3:18,36) That same person is going to warn people about the reality of Hell.(Luke 16:19-31) Why? Because that is what Jesus did. A person who is filled with the Holy Ghost is going to stand for truth and earnestly contend for the faith, (Jude 3) because they know that a false Gospel, carries a curse with it, and will certainly damn the soul. (Acts 1:8-9) It is the LOVE of God that compels, and drives the true believer to warn the unsaved that they will end up in Hell, unless they repent, and trust in Jesus Christ. (Mark 1:15) When you hear a person claim to know Christ, and they tell you that all religions lead to Heaven, you can rest assured that they do not know Christ themselves. They have not received the promise of the Spirit by faith, because the Spirit of God, is the Spirit of truth! (John 16:13) Have YOU received the promise of the Spirit by faith?

For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. (Galatians 3:26)
